Who we are
SwiftSettle Pty Ltd (ABN pending) operates swiftsettle.ai, a document preparation service for Australian employment disputes. In this policy, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to SwiftSettle Pty Ltd.
What we collect
- Account information: name, email address, and hashed password when you create an account.
- Employment documents: payslips, contracts, termination letters, and other files you upload for analysis.
- Payment information: processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, and basic device information to improve the service.
How we use your information
- To analyse your employment documents and prepare your case assessment and action pack.
- To process payments and manage your account.
- To send transactional emails (receipts, document delivery, deadline reminders).
- To improve the accuracy and quality of our AI analysis.
What we will never do
- We will never sell your personal information to third parties.
- We will never share your email with marketers, advertisers, or data brokers.
- We will never use your documents for any purpose other than providing our service to you.
- We will never send you marketing emails without your explicit opt-in consent.
Data storage & security
All data is stored in Australia (Google Cloud, Sydney region australia-southeast1). Documents are encrypted at rest and in transit. Uploaded documents are automatically deleted 90 days after your case is completed unless you request earlier deletion.
AI processing
Your documents are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI to identify claims and prepare documents. Anthropic does not retain your data after processing and does not use it to train their models. We use their API under a commercial agreement with data protection terms.
Third-party services
- Stripe: payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Google Cloud: infrastructure hosting in Australia.
- Anthropic: AI document analysis under commercial data protection terms.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe your privacy has been breached.
Data deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@swiftsettle.ai. We will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to account holders. The “last updated” date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
